As Cintana’s General Counsel and Secretary, Kristen works with company leadership to oversee key legal functions including international transactions, corporate governance, operational advice, litigation, and commercial contracting. 

Prior to joining Cintana, Kristen served as the Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary for SmartRent Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: SMRT), the leading provider of smart home solutions to the rental housing market through its enterprise software and hardware.  Prior to SmartRent, Lee was the Assistant General Counsel at Grand Canyon University, a private university based in Phoenix, Arizona, where she handled a wide variety of regulatory, commercial, and legal matters.

Kristen started her legal career in private practice in Los Angeles, California, followed by six years as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Central District of California. After returning to Arizona, Lee held positions at Fennemore Craig and Snell & Wilmer before positioning herself in-house as a key member of strategic business teams. Kristen earned her B.S. in Communication from Arizona State University's Hugh Downs School of Human Communication and her J.D. from Pepperdine University's Rick J. Caruso School of Law, where she received a certificate from the Palmer Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology Law.  Kristen is a proud Sundevil and an integral part of the Cintana team.
