Universidad Francisco Gavidia joins the ASU-Cintana Alliance to offer a unique educational model in El Salvador that provides students with new academic opportunities

Founded in 1981, UFG is a private university with extensive experience training professionals. It is recognized by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Technology and by the Accreditation Commission. It is the first private university in the hemisphere to have international Hcéres accreditation from the French High Commissioner for Higher Education Evaluation and Research. It also has a robust quality management system in compliance with ISO Standards. The university holds the 2018 National Environment Award. It was designated by the USAID project “Higher Education for Economic Growth” as an anchor institution and leader in the Information and Communication Technologies field.
