The National Institute of Technology (NIT) is Pakistan’s first federally chartered American-style university, established to deliver globally aligned, innovation-driven education. With its Federal Charter awarded on January 25, 2025, NIT is empowered with full academic and administrative autonomy.
Located in Lahore, NIT will welcome its first cohort in October 2025 with two founding faculties: the School of Management Sciences and the School of Data Sciences and Information Technology.
