As Former President and CEO of Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC), Marisol dramatically increased total enrollment from 17,000 to over 70,000 and doubled the EBITDA margin to more than 40%, obtained WASC accreditation, enabled UPC to reach No.2 position in research in the country and to gain recognition as the top university in the country in innovation, employability and internationality.
Marisol is currently pursuing a Business Doctorate student at ESADE Business School in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Master’s in Management and Leadership from UPC, Master’s in Management and Leadership from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. Marisol has participated in the following executive programs: The Next Step in Strategic Management at Kellogg School of Management; Innovation Leadership Program at Babson College; Strategic Marketing at Microsoft; and E-Marketing at the University of California, Berkeley.
Marisol has been recognized as Peru’s “Most Digital CEO” and the leader with the “Best Digital Strategy” in 2019 by Café Taipá. Marisol was previously the President of the National Association of Advertisers (ANDA) in Peru and a past Board Member of Great Place to Work. Currently, she serves as a Board Member of Santander Bank and of Técnica Avícola in Perú.
